RETURN POLICY
In-Store return policy:
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the houseplant must be in its original condition, free from significant damage or deterioration. Plants that have been repotted or altered in any way may not be eligible for return or exchange. You must contact HouseLeaf within 24hours of the purchase to discuss the return of the houseplant. It is up to HouseLeaf to determine if the plant(s) is eligible to be returned. Once the returned houseplant is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 3 business days and credited back to the original payment method or issued as in-store credit.
Shipping Return Policy:
in the unfortunate scenario that a plant(s) is damaged or in poor condition upon arrival, please contact us within 24hrs of receiving the plant, and we will do our best to resolve the issue that satisfies both parties. At any point if you have any questions regarding your plant(s) condition simply contact us through Instagram/Facebook @houseleafbysophie or email us at houseleaf@hotmail.com and we will try our best to guide you in the right direction. Please note that in order to be eligible for a refund the plant(s) must not have been replanted, damaged, neglected, or modified in any way, shape, or form. We must be contacted within 24hrs with pictures of your plant(s) arrival in order to qualify for a refund. DAMAGED PLANTS Despite our best efforts to protect plant(s) with careful packaging, they are placed in the temporary care of Shipping carriers to ensure a safe delivery. On occasion, packages are mishandled or exposed to extreme weather conditions. This can lead to plants arriving in bad shape. If this happens to you, do not worry, we will do our best to make it right. Contact us at houseleaf@hotmail.com with your order number and images of what you received, and we will do our best to resolve the issue. Please note that only the component of your order that arrived damaged will be considered for a replacement. RETURNS & EXCHANGES OF LIVE PLANTS For plants that are shipped, due to the perishable nature of living plants and their susceptibility to variable conditions, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
